I agree that Simple Minds were good. I also thought Spandua Ballet were quite good.

Even though i'm 12 this remains so much better than live8 which was great as well.
I thought all the performances were very good, even the two hit wonders.
sharefor me it was definately U2. But I loved Live Aid - pretty much the whole thing and enjoyed that day - glued to my TV set taping it all on Beta tapes.... ahhh the 80's....
