I thought this was a great movie! I am surprised nobody really knows anything about it or insults it.

I Also like this movie. It has problems, but it is the only movie made about this unique and fascinating person. In spite of other attempts, no other other film has been produced about Hendrix. (I am not counting any docu footage out there.)

If you think this movie was good, you have definitely gone far in YOUR drug use.
The second time I watched it I enjoyed the ride rather than wait for the film to begin and that made it much better. I also really enjoyed him being duffed up by the ginger girlfriend. With drastically-reduced expectations, it's quite good.
