Was this intended to be camp?


I think the filmmaker intended a serious dramatic social commentary. He failed but in so doing the film is close to being brilliant camp. I don't think most of it could be improved if he tried. The casting of "Dennis The Menace" and "The Bubble Boy's Father"(as well as the writer of Caddyshack) are prime examples. Did he do this on purpose?

I didn't see any failure. He made his point.

I guess its camp if you don't believe in honor. That's about it these days in Wall Street and Washington.
