Surprised this has not been listed as a goof

When Dolen is discussing football games at the start of the film, he seems to be discussing games to bet on. He mentions the 49ers with Montana and Rice. However, Joe Montana did not play at all during the 1991 season due to an injury. The start of the movie is Nov. of 1991. Intentional or a mistake?

Actually the guy talking about football was plain pointless. Clearly, none was paying him attention or even was interested on his speech.

He mentions the dolphins, Marino, and yeah he talks about the 49ers of 1991. However, Montana was still a team member of the Niners and wasn't actually gone yet - so there is nothing wrong with talking about him being on the team, even if he was hurt that year like you said. It was more about talking about football and key people from that year And to show he was a talker who wouldn't stop!

So: a realistic, down to earth show..which is completely off the wall swarming with magic robots?!
