Saddest movie I've ever seen

Ignoring the facts how they made the town of Laramie look and that it was a true story....I believe this is the saddest movie ever. Even if it hadn't been a story it would be just as sad because I know it has happened to someone before.

Anymore sad movies like this? or just sad movies in general?

Try "The Laramie Project." It sort of follows the same plotline, only it focuses on the town of Laramie, and their reaction to what happens to Matthew. It's based on a play, and contains an all-star cast. There are two parts that always get me. The first comes when Matthew dies, and the doctor speaks to the press, delivering a message from Matthew's parents. The second is when Matthew's father, Dennis, speaks at the trial of Matthew's killers.

Definitely check it out!

There's this movie called Boys Don't Cry, it's the effing saddest movie ever. It's about this girl Teena Ray, I think, and it's just SO sad.

Also, "Leaving Las Vegas", "David and Lisa", "Sundays & Cybele"
(a French movie which is really hard to find), "Terms of Endearment",
just to name a few. I think these are truly sad, not sappy-sad.
