Can Someone please explain what the phrase 'back of Brussels' means?? ty




i love the show , i just dont quite get that line, i sort of do, but not sure if what i think is what its meant to think.. im not European either.. dont know if that matters, i just recently began watching the show and it is SOOOO GD funny.. i love it.. i was never confused.. im so alone, oh my beautiful crisps , im cheeky me, look at his face, its a picture ~~~!@@ hahahah haha ahhahaha hahah hahahh.. too funny.... i was never confused, ty for answers in advance.. :) Dh.......

The line is "back off, Brussels!". It's a reference to the country Brussels constantly interfering in Britain with laws and such, telling us what we can and can't do, say etc.

Brussels is no a country. it is the capital city of Belgium.

It is also where the headquarters of the European Community is based. Many Brits blame the EU for any problems the UK has.

Brussels isn't a country, lol.

It's because the European parliament is situated in Brussels, Belgium. The EU passes laws that are applied Europe wide (including Britain).
