Same here. I loved it, but I guess not many people did because it didn't last long.

The problem was that it was more mature humour than kids humour so it didn't really fit the Cartoon Network bill. Maybe if it had been aimed more at adults it might have done better. Basically the programme had no specific demographic so it became more of a cult hit than anything.

part of the reason it bombed is it was before its time. Most people didn' get the quirkiness of the show.

this show was definitley before it's time. what's strange is that this was a year before nick's fairly odd parents and they share practically the same humor.

Except Fairly Oddparents actually kills their jokes by making it so obvious. Sheep in the Big City was more subtle.
For me, I hated Sheep in the Big City when it originally came out. I was 10. I rediscovered it during reruns at 1 AM when I was 13 and started to love it. (Implying that Adult Swim wasn't on at the time.) It pretty much became the only "kid" thing I watched on Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon.
