I went to the recording (origins of Brent)

I went to the recording of one of these episodes.
This was more interesting for what wasn't in the show.
Ricky was directing and showing mad Brent characteristics.
He was very stressed and shouting at people.
The show was planned to have a contestant put into a gunge tank.
This was put in place by a very camp props man.
Ricky had made quite a crasss homophobic joke that had yeided more groans that laughs from the audience. Whilst setting up for the next shot the gunge tank went off (I get the feeling th props guy had done this deliberately)
This elicted a great laugh from the audience. Ricky was peed off and was muttering about giving up and going home (Very Brnet). The audience thought this was funny and laughed some more. I thought it might have been a set up and saw it as funny too. I the final episode this didn't appear but the mannerisms appeared in the office and the camp co-worker appeared in the last episode of Extras.
