Banned episodes?

I heard that the "Super Nova" episode was banned because there were VERY overt references to drug use.

Can anyone confirm this?

It was kinda funny to see King Nova take a pot shot at Zurg with a blaster pistol.

Also I've heard that "The Taking of PC-7" and "Inside Job" were banned due to terroristic suggestions.

I'm calling BS on the banning of "The Taking of PC-7" and "Inside Job" but "Super Nova" does sound plausible.

I do believe those 3 were definately banned. Revenge of the Monsters was also "Banned" , I do believe, but it aired a couple nights ago on Disney Channel.
(it's on youtube now)

"The Taking of PC-7" is not banned, it plays all the time. "Supernova" is banned (I don't think that it should be, but it is). I don't know about "Inside Job", but "Revenge of the Monsters" must not be banned if it just played. Since "At Large on a Small Planet" isn't banned, I don't see why they would ban "Inside Job" because it's the same villains. Then again, who knows, they do weird things sometimes. We'll just have to watch and see if it plays or not.

I have no first hand information but I recall that, although there are drug parallels in Super Nova, it was a very anti-drug message. But some people only look at the surface and banning an episode means no irate letters to answer.

Some of the shows using the miniature villains might have been banned because the word "terrorist" was used or because one of the episodes featured an assassination plot. Different world before 9/11. Haven't a clue about the others.

That makes sense, better to head it off then have to deal with angry letters.

So this brings our banned list to a total of three episodes:
Inside Job
Supernova
Conspiracy

Because "Revenge of the Monsters", "The Taking of PC-7", and "Ancient Evil" (another one that I've heard people suggest might be banned) are not banned, they just don't air very often.

I recall watching Super Nova and any reference went straight over my head. It was just another episode to me.

Which one was inside job?

"Inside Job" is the introduction to the Gargantuan Militants. It's available to watch on LiveVideo if you're interested in seeing it.

Was the Christmas episode "Holiday time" edited to remove all references to Christmas and replace them with with word holiday? They had santa, Christmas trees, Christmas music, and numerous places where the word "holiday" didn't make sense, yet the kept repeating the word over and over when they were clearly talking about Christmas.
