Question

My brother and I are having a debate about whether or not this is a musical or an opera. My instinct is that it's a musical b/c there's talking in it (all done by Bronson, right?), but my brother's is that it's an opera despite the talking, even though he's seen a couple of operas. So, what I'm asking is, "is this a musical or an opera?"

You just HAD to ask, didn't you. I will bet you five dollars that this will be the only response to this question before school ends. No, strike that. Before the end of the summer.

This is really more of a revue, a collection of songs from other musicals. The only thing that makes this revue stand out is that all the song help create some form of a story line.

It is considered a musical revue, as malbert-1 stated. It is a collection of songs from other shows put together to create a new story.
