I don't know about you guys, but I think a live action Gundam Wing movie would be cool. So let’s say someday they do make a live action Gundam Wing movie, and let's also say they make it into three movies, what part of the series do you think the first movie would end, or the second one.
share I'd like to see something but I don't know if that'd work too well. Maybe instead of the movie or (mini)series being "Gundam Wing" it could be based off the series. Personally I'd like to see something that focused on the Gundam pilot's backstories more as if you read Episode Zero that definetly explained a few things, made them a more realistic age (say early twenties for the pilots, no teenager would be piloting one of those machines in real life) and maybe had one pilot die. They could also change the focus a little bit from the idea of world peace to perhaps focusing more on the Mobile Dolls and how mankind is possibly being replaced by machines. I'd definetly like to see something but only if it had a large enough budget (mobile suits including the Gundams live action would be costly, a project would probably have to focus more on the political battlefield than the MS battlefield), acceptable actors who can play the characters and good writers.
I expect nothing less than gratuitous violence from the lot of ya.
I was just thinking about this. The Pacific Rim movie, although I haven't seen it yet, really reminds me of shows like the many Gundam Wing series. So maybe a live action film of Gundam Wing will follow if that does well at the box office?
