Straight to DVD?
Is this movie going straight to DVD in the US or will it go theatrical? If it does, hopefully Mobius Pictures won't draw it out as long as they did Chaos.
shareI hope this goes theatrical because it sounds like it will be a solidly decent film, I hope similar to Training Day type film.
I really hope this does well because I love Mila Jovovich she is gorgeus kiss kiss! ;} Angus McFadden is also an excellent actor and Im sure he can pull this movie together as the main actor, after watching Ultraviolet and ending up with convulsions due to the awfullness of that monstrosity this will be better.!!!
I don't think I'll enjoy seeing her raped, which I think will happen.

All films must be approved before their release. An Australian approval certificate is not necessarily an indication of DTV; it simply means they classified the film in anticipation of whatever release it will receive.
MRA, the distributor, said they'll put the film out mid to late 2007 on DVD.

Lol - I'm actually a guy, and although I think Milla is very attractive I find rape disturbing, I would prefer if it was a casual intercourse scene, sorry if I confused you.

She is not raped, though there is a sex scene that might as well be rape.
But she is beaten and abused for a lengthy time and that is as disturbing as rape. She is not a whore in the movie - she just seduces several people to get them to off Big Al. This movie is not like anything Milla has done before. It is extremely vulgar right from the first line and never stops. But it's a good movie except for that beating scene. Milla cries so realistically, it's harrowing.

shareI work at a video store and there was an ad for this movie, so it is straight to video. It says it is coming out April 24.
This may change since studios like pulling movies thinking that maybe they could do some-what well in the theaters.
We will see how this one does.
