I am sure people will love this movie in time

I cant believe how this movie got 5.5 rate. Acting is superb.Angus and Milla are great. it is also a multidimentional movie. it is about spousal abuse, love, hate, crime, law. And it is funny. what can a movie do more.

the movie aint that bad nor that good either. 5.5 seems fair enough.
i dint expect much from the movie i just watched it coz i was a mila jovovich fan, better than what i expected. i only liked kate and big al's character others were kinda crappy and shallow.

King Kong Ain't Got *beep* On Me

I agree. I thoght the flick was awsome! Dark, gritty and funny. Way better than the resident evil stuff she does.

reply

I agree. I gave it a 9 out of 10.

hey - me 2 - and i had read mostly negative reviews (on IMDB) prior to watching it - tip top little indie - and i particularly liked the ending - and also the song that ran through the credits (almost as good as the one at the end of The Matador - the all-time best closing track)

i can understand some people being turned off by the language and violence - but the dialogue is no worse than any Sopranos episode - the same for the violence

another thing i liked was the way that all the direct-to-camera shots were done - for some reason, they reminded me like no other movie or tv show has before about a tv show that i thought i had totally forgotten - The Adventures of Dobie Gillis - the show with Maynard G Crabbe before he became marooned on Gilligan's Island - i am really not sure why - or perhaps it had more to do with the way that the drama was propelled forward by the use of this technique - i liked it and thought that they added to the whole experience of getting involved with al the character's and their respective lives

Good one,

There are actually two different songs that play in the ending credits
of the movie (.45)

It depends on which song in the ending credits you are talking about,
the first one starts at the end of the movie before the credits start
rolling. The second one starts approx. four-five minutes after the credits
are rolling and plays to the end of credits.

The first song is "Troubled Angel" by Eighty Eighty Eights.

The second song is "Born Without Defect" by Matt Warren.

A little hint: to find out who performs the songs in a lot of movies,
all you have to do is turn on the captions and it will usually tell who
performs the songs.
