Some thoughts

This is easily perhaps the most offensive show ever seen on network television. Using one of the most evil men in last 500 years, not to poke fun at, or parody, but to place in a whacky setting to laugh along with. It completely disrespects the memories of those who suffered and died under his regime, using the invasions of other countries as punchlines to be amused by. The use of a Jewish couple is the last slap in the face, the tour de force of tastelessness, the wink to the camera by the creators to indicate how little they care about how disgusting their premise really is. It is a show that makes one realize that there will always be those who make one step, one piece of "entertainment" beyond that which is needed. `

Damn catchy theme song, though.

Actually it IS funny. And I take it you've never seen Monty Python or even those wartime Disney cartoons? People have been making fun of Hitler in entertainment from the getgo and there's nothing wrong with that.

Indeed, I'd suggest that mockery is exactly what's needed to make neo-Nazism less appealing to people today. Conversely if we put Hitler on a pedestal then we shouldn't be surprised when disaffected youth start turning in that dark direction.

I am absolutely in no way offended by this show. But it is terrible. There is not one good joke in it. Sure, it's a parody. But after the "ha, it's Hitler like a normal person" joke wears off, it's just corny. It may be terrible on purpose, but it's still terrible.

I agree with you Padddy5, I saw it on Youtube and I wasn't offended by the show either. I'm aware of what the writer was trying to do but sadly the whole thing just fell flat on it's face. It was a one joke concept stretched out for half an hour with little in the way of anything truly funny. Ok, I thought the "I have to think of nice thoughts" gag was quite funny but other than that its dire.

Same here, thought it was funny. I also love both versions of The Producers. Making someone like Hitler the object of ridicule is never a bad idea.
