People who go into the light don't usually want to come back. The sun is gonna cook the world in 5 or so billion years anyways.

reply

If we can bring people back after death in the next 1OO years say, Then why wouldn't you I mean 5/6 billion is such a long long time away when the sun will make the earth like a rock instead of air and water

reply

Well if you're young then perhaps it could happen in your lifetime, who knows, perhaps that's a small possibility. And you probably would need to save up, become a billionaire or something so you can afford or get you're hands on the technology when and if it first comes out.

reply

Well yeah exactly and not only that but you wouldn't age, And plus if you were really old when you died they could make you youthful again

All these things that are considered SCI-FI are becoming reality

reply

Sounds like a nice dream. I believe in an afterlife that's better than this anyways, so I'm not too concerned.

reply

A nice dream you what??
So if you believe in the afterlife do you also believe in reincarnation?

reply

I don't know exactly what it involves all I'm saying is I believe consciousness survives death.

reply

But you must know what it involves if you believe in it so much, So what other films do you like with a twist or two?

reply

NDE testimonies vary. There's a neurosurgeon/anesthesiologist name Dr. Stuart Hameroff on youtube and that was featured on an episode of 'Through the Wormhole' who describes how consciousness might survive death. It comes down to quantum science which is confusing as hell.

Other movies with a twist ending: I don't know I just wen down my list of favorite movies and didn't find many that are known for their twist endings... "Seven" is about the only one I could remember that had a pretty shocking finale. Shawshank Redemption Will always be one of my favorite endings, as is Vanilla Sky. 2001 Space Odyssey and Eraserhead were both really weird and ambiguous.

Magnolia which was a movie that I thought could have been great but there was something I hated about it had a pretty neat ending from what I remember.

reply

I shall def look up this Stuart Hameroff, Or do you have the right link to go to that certain episode?

reply

Yeah some good movies in there. Getting kind of tired of movies in general though.

reply

I do like my films, But more in to TV shows so what TV shows from back in the day and now did/do you watch?

reply

Back in the day and still I like Friends and The Simpsons. Also more recently for HBO The Sopranos and Breaking Bad. Those are my big four... haven't really gotten into too many others. I like Homeland and Conan. Also some good mini-series Band of Brothers, John Adams and World At War (documentary series) if you like history.

reply

Got a huge list of all my favorite shows, movies and documentaries if you're interested. It's mostly movies although haven't added much in recent years as I haven't watched much that excites me anymore.

reply

Yea sure go ahead will be a good read, I will reply back with TV shows I watched back in the 80's till up to date ones now
