Spencer

This dude is sick, not to mention completely looney. Have some dignity man. Imagine if kids were looking out the window and some him and his hippies running nude. This is not appropriate for society.

The only thing to fear is yourself . . .

The nude figure has been a popular artistic subject for thousands of years; why not now? What exactly is your problem with it? (And children are fascinated by their own bodies; why do people think they need to be "protected" from knowing what an adult human body looks like? I can understand protecting children from being sexualized too young, but that's got nothing to do with the kind of art Spencer Tunick does.)

Be grateful that Spencer has not posed nude for any photos -- although he is nude in the documentary (at the clothing-optional beach), so it's not like he's hiding.

What I find ironic is that someone obsessed with the nude human form could have such an unattractive body. I know his theme isn't himself or beauty, but shouldn't an artist have enough respect and appreciation for beauty to make himself more attractive?

The guy is talented and accomplished, for sure, but he looks like he hasn't exercised one day in his life. I mean, if you "worship" the human form, wouldn't you treat your own body better? And he's still a young man.

Am I off base?

You are close to overreacting. It is not like he is forcing anyone to look at/participate in his photographs.
