Spoiler: Huge Plot Hole

When the little girl hides in the trunk, how in the world would the man not find her when he loaded it back in his car? If he took it out, and it was empty, there must have been equipment that he would have put back into it after he was finished recording. So he would have opened the trunk and found the girl out in the woods.
Also, the Netflix summary stated the husband is not aware of the level of his wife's psychic ability so I thought that the film was going in a different direction in that the wife would have known that the husband abused the girl when he found her earlier but pretended that he didn't know she was there all along. That is why the girl screamed when she saw him when she woke up. But it didn't turn out that way at all and to me ends in a very unclimactic way.
