Heavy Metal probably influenced this movie.

I'm talking about the movie Heavy Metal from 1981. This Felix movie is like an extended segment from that movie. The weird sci-fi stuff, the animation...hell there's even a glowing green ball that flies around!

I agree, some of the animation does resemble that movie (the animation that is good anyway) and the cylinders/wierd creatures also reminded me of it.

Some of the music and settings reminded me of Heavy Metal. Even the princess looked a bit like a character from Heavy Metal, only if she were in that movie she would have been naked through all of her scenes.

Who knows maybe the film would have done better if they threw in a bunch of huge cartoon boobs in this film. Or have Felix and the Princess screw! ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!

I'm with you there. This variation of Felix the Cat is like a story fleshed out of the Heavy Metal mag from the old days. The Duke is a lot like the Loc-Nar from the HM film, and the way you mentioned Felix and the Princess getting screwed give Felix the role of Den (The geek from the Den segment) and Princess Oriana play either Katherine (the girl who gives in to sexual pleasures) or Taarna (The big boobed barbarian who destroys the Loc-Nar). Imagine this, Felix tosses the bag of tricks to Princess Oriana, and pulls out the giant sword like the one Taarna used. Oriana starts to have Taarna's crest on her skin and grows big boobs and has the Taarakian strength to decapitate the Duke, but sacrifices herself to destroy Zill, saving Felix and his friends. Felix, the Professor, Pointdexter, and the Kingdom are at a loss for words about the Princess' sacrifice... until a lucky girl with Oriana's spirit comes to the Oriana kingdom, looking like her. The Kingdom cheers and everyone will have a desire for everything... and cue Sammy Hagar's "Heavy Metal" theme.

How's that?

All it needs is boobs and sex, and it would fit right in.
