I heard rumours that this movie was rushed by the producers...

I read a few posts on the internet saying that the makers of this movie were rushed by the production team and that they had to do rewrites to make it shorter and had to drastically change the ending. Does anyone know if this is true? I can only imagine how good this movie would've been if the creators were allowed more time to make it. I also have a sinking feeling that this was the cause of some of the dubbing/animation problems, sure as Zill is Zill.

That could very well be the case. I wonder why it had to be rushed so damn much.

Yeah, there was a certain element of ineptitude I saw in this film.

The muddle ending/death of Zill/Crushing of the Master Cylinder/I'll be Back moment.

Plus, when The Princess is captured near the end, they just reused the capture footage from her capture at the Dimens-porter earlier in the film.

"Thanks, guys." "So long, partner."

It makes perfect sense to me after seeing the ending.

Felix and the gang spent probably four minutes battling the Head Hunters, yet the final showdown with the Master Cylinder consisted of Felix struggling to lift the Book of Wisdom before throwing it at him.

That really felt as though they were either rushed for time or running low on their budget.
