The Institute

I recently read The Institute and have Rose Red on right now. The part where Rachel tells Joyce that there's a school for kids like Annie. Ignoring the obvious that Rose Red precedes The Institute by 18 years, I almost feel like they could be connected, like the school is another branch of The Institute, trying things with a nicer approach or something. I know that's a far reach and it's not something I believe as an actual connection, more just a "what if" pondering
