i actually enjoyed it for the first half, but then it just get confusing that i can't enjoy it anymore..

why annie has a connection with the house.. and is her doll is the same like april's ?
and then i thought april is inside annie when she's got knocked out from falling from the chair. and the prof seems strange, way too strange in her behaviour toward annie that i thought she also been possessed may be by ellen.

and the old guy whose ability to foresee the future seems not doing anything.
also when something about reaching annie on the top, there's just april ghost ?

oh i don't know.. this movie is just too confusing..

Annie has a connection only to the house because she is psychicly strong and the house is feeding off her energy.
The doll isn't the same, its a similar style, a raggidy anne doll, very popular type of toy.
April wasn't "inside" annie when she fell, but Ellen was channelling through a little after that when she spoke.

The professor is just overly obsessed with her work, she had dedicated her life to studying Rose Red and annie was the "key" and thus was obsessed with her too.

Also, it must have been hard for Vic to use his power considering the stress and his heart problem.

Autistic people have a very different way of thinking than the average person, and so when they try and get into Annie's mind, shes like on a different wavelength to them and they cant communicate properly

As for april's ghost, Steve was stressed, april probably just wanted to scare him so posessed Annie in that second he saw her.

i guess i was binded by my own interpretation, i even thought annie is destined to live in the house as april's friend cause no place for her in the real world.
