DVD?

So, is there a DVD of the show, or a chance to at least see a rerun? I'd like to see it.

The show didnt run long enough to be syndicated so there isnt a DVD or reruns.

i never saw the show but i'm now a big Kristin Chenoweth fan, and i kno i'd by it regardless of how people say the show was. I think now that she's become more famous they should definitely release it on dvd, i'm sure lots of people would by it now that she's becoming so well-known. unfortunately they most likely wont, but it'd be nice to hope for.

...How is Kristin a star? I've never heard of her.

Thank god this show will not even grace the DVD format. There is some humanity left.

She is a HUGE Broadway star! She was the original Glinda in Wicked and won a Tony for You're A Good Man Charlie Brown. She was also in Annie and The Music Man on TV and was in the movie version of Bewitched and is going to be in a bunch of movies coming out soon.. You should check her out because she is GREAT!

in australia the comedy channel does reruns occassionally, it's alright, nothing special imo but it's alright. i didn't like it at first but now i do, have to agree it probably won't make it onto dvd, although most shows are going on dvd nowadays so it may finds it's way onto disc.

hi aussie-elphie, it was on the comedy channel 2.30pm-3pm and comedy+2 4.30pm-5pm. unfortunately it isn't on atm i don't think. last month it was on every week day. if i remember and see it on i'll post a message in here if it comes back on. but all you need to do to find out if it's on or not is go to the foxtel australia website and go to tv guide and you can check the comedy channel program or find out what is on during the next week.

I hope there will be a DVD, theres some episodes missing, I looked under the episodes ,and there's at least 8, and only 6 aired, which I'm not entirely sure why NBC didn't really pick up the show, personally I thought it was pretty cute, and Kristin Chenoweth is well, adoreable. :) I saw the six that were aired, which can be found on youtube under these links, if anyone is looking.

Well, I guess ther4e is one good thing about it not being picked up, if Kristin had stayed on the air, then what would be of Wicked? I mean, I guess it would still exist, but it wouldn't be the same without the talented Kristin Chenoweth with her amazing voice.

reply

There are 13 episodes in total of the show, although only the first six aired. When NBC first picked it up, they paid in advance for thirteen episodes (*very* unheard of). Personally, I'm hoping the last seven come out sometime, somehow.

I kinda thought the show was hokey, but Kristin = love, IMO, so it's all good LOL I completely melted when she sang Fever. I gotta admit, tho, I'm glad the show didn't last, first, because of Wicked, but mainly because I think she's better than a poorly-written sitcom.

reply

I do hope that it goes on DVD. There have been some cancelled shows that have gotten DVD releases. It seems that some of the cancelled show from last TV season had their complete series released but I can't think of the titles at the moment. So there is hope that "Kristin" can be released onto DVD sometime in the future.
