Great show, too bad they didn't make more...
I just finished watching the episodes (including the unaired pilot) on DVD and I had forgotten how good the show was when I first watched it years ago, and i was able to see the one episode (with the dog) I missed the first time around. Such a shame networks seem to disregard and dismiss good shows for the want of a few ratings. Years ago, the shows ran for years evn if they didn't have a huge big audience, to give the show a chance to gain popularity. The networks think just because it's a new show it must get a terrific audience right out of the gate even if hardly anyone has watched it: they don't give word of mouth a chance to work. By the time people are on board and watching it, they're ready to yank it. Networks should go back to the way it was years ago, and let people be entertained by shows they like to watch, that they look forward to, and not have the show's success be dictated by sponsors!
Very glad I got ahold of the dvd.
