ABC are trying to squeeze their money's worth out of this production.

shareiirc, the old series showed three fights per 30-minute show, and that seemed to go at a decent pace.
Four in an hour is too slow, especially when one knows about half the fights don't go the three minutes.
If you buy a ticket for a remake, you are the problem, not Hollywood.
It's not like the network execs have ever really given a *bleep* about BattleBots or its fans anyway
