Stinger vs Bronco: Awesome fight. Two very aggressive bots, and it really could have gone either way.

Witch Doctor vs Tombstone: Witch Doctor lost, but may have revealed Tombstone's weakness. WD's absorbing shielding shielding up front showed little signs of damage and capable of taking Tombstone's shots. Had WD not flipped, this could have been an upset.

Overhaul vs Bite Force: Very tough decision. Could have gone either way. But I think had the match been another 30 seconds, Overhaul would have been the clear winner. Bite Force escapes again.

Icewave vs Ghost Raptor / Pushbot / Deicer: The schizophrenic bot wins again! I love watching these guys having to improvise every match. It's worked out so far.

That was a fun week.

If you buy a ticket for a remake, you are the problem, not Hollywood.

Tombstone won by pure luck. He looked pretty unbeatable up until now, but then again he's only fought against marshmallows. Witch gave him a run for his money. Tomb's blade broke with the same hit that flipped Witch. He's damn lucky Witch flipped or he'd have most likely lost.

Not sure how next week will go vs. Bronco since Tomb getting flipped doesn't affect it. It was flying all over the arena last night and kept going. Best Bronco can do is try to flip it outside the arena again.

Bronco has won all his matches by tossing his opponents out of the ring, being able to drive upside down doesn't matter so much on the rails or over the edge. It'll come down to, can Bronco take 3-4 hits from Tombstone before he can get that good flip up to the rails.

Yeah, when Tombstone's blade broke, he would have been in a world of hurt if WD did not flip upside down at that exact moment.

But then, that's why I always get annoyed about bots that can't operate upside down having no self-righting mechanism. Even if its's just some arm that pushes out so the bot can roll over, have something!

Icewave suffered for the exact same reason.

If you buy a ticket for a remake, you are the problem, not Hollywood.

It really went to show how underrated WitchDoctor's blade was. Every time they had a head to head collision with Tombstone WD threw them across the ring. That thing was awesomely powerful. They definitely had the bout won until the flip that killed them.

Bronco is super impressive though, he was my favorite after his first fight, and still is. I think he's durable enough to take a couple of shots and eventually flipping TD out of the arena.

I do think he winner of that match wins the Final. Bite Force has been pretty impressive, but won't be able to dig themselves into either Bronco or Tombstone, and Ghost Raptor's run to the semis has easily been the most impressive. I didn't think IceWave was losing to GR, but I did feel he was quite overrated. Felt he was barely a top 8 seed.
