censoring?

In the trailers for Shinjuku on the Bird People of China dvd they show a scene with a cart full of human organs, and also a scene where a man slapping someone kneeling down before them in the face. Neither of these scenes appear in the dvd I viewed. Is the US version of the movie heavily censored if at all? Are there different verions of the movie.
