MANY QUESTIONS

1. Has this movie never been distributed? I just saw it on TV, and really liked it.
2. How come there is hardly a discussion about this movie.
3. How does it start? I began watching when she is (shily) drinking in a bar. He comes in and says something about the Brooklyn Bridge and she replies "I am not even supposed to be here". Why is she there?

It's been a while since I've seen it. But from what I remember of it:

The movie starts out with Jimmy (Chris Eigeman) dissecting his love and sex life and the failures that occur afterward. Basically, he swears off women.

Whitney (Jenny McCarthy) has just moved to New York to become a news reporter and, pretty much, outlines her love and sex life.

Just under the Brooklyn Bridge on her way to cover a story (driving her own car) she hits Jimmy as he's walking home from getting fired from a job. She doesn't injure him in the least as she was going slow because she's lost. Being totally unsympathetic she asks Jimmy how to get to where she's going. Jimmy relents and sends her across the Brooklyn Bridge.

So (fastfowarding to the bar scene), Jimmy recognizes her sitting at the bar. They both are very nervous because they are at a bar that caters to "escorts". They each think the other is a prostitute.

That's why when they see each other in the restaurant while Whitney is on a date and Jimmy is their server they start calling each other a whore. : )
