Does this B.Boy have anything to do with seinfeld's

If you are a seinfeld fan, you cant have missed the Bubble Boy's episode. When they go up to pie country and the bubble boy ends up choking george because he said the card said "Moops" in a game of trivia. Whats the deal with the movie now? Does it have anything to do with seinfeld,or with seinfeld's bubble boy at all??

This Bubble Boy movie is very loosly based off of The Boy in the Plastic Bubble from 1976. I don't think this has anything to do with Seinfeld.

reply

There's really nothing to connect Seinfeld to this movie, however Brian George (Pushpop) was on Seinfeld a couple of times as Babu.

The Chinese guy in Bubble Boy (500 dollahs) was Ping on Seinfeld. He was the Chinese food delivery guy that Elaine hit.

Yeah, but it probably wasn't a mistake to release the new movie version under the title of a popular episode of a very popular tv show just a few years after it ended, when it was still very popular in syndication.

Does the Dennis Hopper movie, Space Truckin', have anything to do with the Deep Purple song of the same name? Same deal, of course they do.

reply

Now they made a movie from that song. Lot of idea vampires in Hollywood.

They´re probably both based on the real life bubble boy: http://www.cbsnews.com/pictures/bubble-boy-40-years-later-look-back-at-heartbreaking-case/

The only relation is that they both have compromised immune systems and so must live in a sealed bubble.
