the identity you are Born with

thats what these movies are really about, your identity. the action and all the CIA is filler as it doesnt make sense anyway

jason bourne was not born as jason bourne was he? this movie and the others is a quest for his identity and the identity he prefers, after all we can choose the identity we want and not accept the identity or name that is given to us by our parents and certainly not by the CIA organisation.

when he opens his own bank safe we are dazzled with all his passports, he goes through them wondering which one he prefers
he has a certain fondness for john michael kane and is a necessary identity in a couple of scenes in the plot.
having seen all the movies we know his realname is David Webb. Yet how are we sure of this?? afterall he was told this "fact" by pamela landy an employee of the CIA. We are never really sure who he is, maybe he is nameless as befits a socalled trained spy for the CIA. I personally think its just another identity invention by the CIA.

I actually think of all the names and identities that he has at his disposal he prefers Jason Bourne the most, its a cooler name (his new girlfriend only knows him as jason), gets him places, treated with respectful fear by the CIA and others the world over.I mean whats cool about being called david webb eh??

The Bourne Identity is his favourite.
