One of the greatest movies of all time (SPOILERS)

SPOILERS.

The Bourne Identity has something that its sequels will never have which is complete mystery, we literally don't know anything about this man until the second, third e.c.t. where we find more out about him as the movie series continues.

Real life ex-spies in documentaries mentioned that some of this film is far-fetched example the martial arts stuff, but they missed the point, movies are supposed to be fiction, they're not all going to be realistic, that's the definition of a movie.

I can never get bored of this flick no matter how many times i watched it. The clever thing about this film series is that the cops, cia, e.c.t never catch him, it's crazy when you think about it.

We still don't know really anything about Jason Bourne himself though, we know less than a quarter, there's probably more to come, i doubt Jason Bourne 2016 will be the last film of the movie series.

Jaaon Bourne 2016 was a letdown that didn't reveal anything new about the character. This franchise had gone out with a pathetic whimper.

Yep....

I mean it did reveal something new about the character. Just didn't fucking matter. Just like Ultimatum lol

reply

I'd give it an 8/10.

Yeah I liked it. I really enjoyed the book it's based on but the plot is a lot different.

In the book Bourne isn't really an assassin, well in the same way. He's an agent trying to track down Carlos the Jackal. He assumed the identity Kain, a rival assassin, in the hope of luring Carlos. Evidence is planted at incidents to make Kain seem real and only a very few select number of people know he isn't.

Problem is Bourne loses his memory possibly during a fight with Carlos. He recuperates but as he has amnesia he doesn't report back and his own people think he's became a traitor. He's also framed for killing some of his own people to further this

It really is one of the Greatest and most consistent Trilogies in terms of each movie seem to get better and Bourne Ultimatum had closure and they should've stopped because the self titled "JASON BOURNE" seems like it was only made because moviegoers thought he was in Bourne Legacy and wasn't.. It's interesting how they made a movie with Bourne in the title, but not in the film itself??
