It felt like the first half was directed by a Cuban....

and the second half was directed by an American, no?

I liked the film though. I was left with the feeling that this man set out to do a hugely heroic, beautiful thing but became far too obsessed with himself and his power.

I don't know too much about Cuban history though so don't know how accurate a portrayal this is.
