i absolutly LOVED this movie

I just watched it, and I too thought it was great. I'm a farm girl from small town/rural Alberta, so this TOTALLY kept me enthralled...elements of it eeriely echoed my own experiences.

Have you read the book "Wild Geese"?

Have you seen the 1927 movie "Wild Geese"? I wonder if it was as well done? I'd like to track it down so I could see.

I don't quite share the same opinion. Although "After the Harvest" was ok, I definately prefered the book though. Plus, reading "Wild Geese" first showed me what the story really was, and I definately prefered taht one.

I really loved it too.
The actresses were great: Alberta Watson, Liane Balaban (pleasantly surprised when I saw her here), and Nadia Litz.
And of course Sam Shepard.
