Such Annoying Characters
This was unusual and interesting enough for me to make it thru the entire movie - but I'm struggling to decide which was the most annoying character. Maybe it's a reflection of movie making in 2001?

shareThere is no character here that is either sympathetic or one you want to root for. Lorraine, the volunteer big sister, and Dr. Crane are the only ones that had a likability factor. I thought both sisters, Emily Mortimer and Catherine Keener, were extraordinarily shallow, with Keener somewhat mean-spirited as well. And with the antics of that little girl played by Raven Goodwin, this movie could have easily been a remake of THE BAD SEED! Even lovable Agent Coulson turns out to be a cad in this feature.
Narrative was a waste of some good talent.
I didnt care for Annie,, I am sad to say. She totally annoyed me. I wasnt sympathetic to her except for her history with her birth mom/dad. She was rude at the movie premier and vacant at Mcdonalds, when the sister told her she just got arrested. I tried to like her character but could not.
