Why didn't she come hook up the 2nd line?
Guy tells you there's a second phone line. Either it's already hooked up or it isn't. If it isn't, you should hook it up. Idiot.

shareBesides, how could she have foreseen that the very next day the house will be invaded by burglars? And does this really make her an "idiot", not hooking up the second phone line straight away? Maybe she didn't feel it was necessary, hell loads of us including us when moved didn't hook up lots of things for days if not weeks.
