Some questions unanswered...perhaps.

Please help. I may have missed out on something since I watched this movie in several sittings. There are a few things that I'm not sure add up or where clarified.

1. Why did the drunk witness who gets recorded disappear to?

2. Why did the drunk witness defend (while drunk) the man who turned out to be guilty?

3. Did Hernandez blow up the cafe or not?

4. Was it Hernandez who was trying to kill Ashley Judd's character, or was it the El Salvadorian man?

5. Did the case get dismissed because Ashley Judd's character blackmailed Marks?

6. Who bugged the home?

Please help with any of these if you can.

1. It's likely that the drunk witness was paid off by the military.

2. Maybe the drunk guy was threatened by the guilty man previously.

3. Hernandez DID blow up the cafe.

4. It was actually the military that tried to kill Judd's character.

5. The case got dismissed because even though they knew who killed all those women and children, they still wanted to cover up that separate incident which was the bombing of the American tourists along with the guy who they intended to kill in the cafe, the American tourists were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

6. The Military probably bugged the home. The El Salvadorian man had no reason to because his mind was already made up about what happened, he witnessed it, he didn't need to know Judd's character's conversations.

Hope that helps.
