Offensive Stereotypes?

I was reading through a few things on Kangaroo Jack for an English assignment and I came across an article titled, Jerry goes into "damage control". It was a short piece about Jerry O'Connell (Charlie Carbone) going to Australia to calm down the talk of negative Australian stereotypes in the movie. After reading this, I went back and watched the movie my self and even wrote a short piece about Stereotypes in film in general.

I think there is a negative stereotype shown in Kangaroo Jack. I think that the directors could have been a little more sensitive when presenting a different culture to a predominant American audience. What do you think? Is this a problem in Kangaroo Jack? Is it a problem in film in general? I just want to see what everyone else thinks.
