I mean, don't get me wrong, it wasn't perfect and it definitely had some major flaws, but I still enjoyed it. I liked the cast as well. And I thought the werewolves looked pretty cool. And Christina Ricci looked stunning...as usual.
RIP Wes Craven
For me, a big cult classic. Only Wes Craven could have given it this tone.

All things considered it's amazing that it turned out a half decent film.
It's a real shame we'll likely never get the original version of the film with Skeet Ulrich, Heather Langenkamp and Corey Feldman...not to mention the practial effects Werewolves done by Rick Baker (who did the makeup in The Howling and An American Werewolf in London). Imagine replacing Rick Bakers work with CGI. Insane.
On paper this could have been a truly special film.
