I didn't know there was a law that said that horror movies were only allowed to be rated R. Where is that law found, exactly?

I agree man. Horror movies needs to be more gory.

I think it would've been a vast improvement if this movie would've been rated R. But then again...I still enjoyed the movie. Though, if it would've been rated R, the gore and violence could've been stepped up a bit more.

That's certainly the prevailing opinion of kids these days, as horror has become synonymous with blood and guts, and filmmakers have kept pushing it further as kids demand more and more brutal killings and gruesome scenes. It's weird to think that the most popular horror films in the 70s, specifically Jaws, was only rated PG! I understand the desire for rated R horror flicks, but it is by no means a necessity.
On a side note, I also see you're quite an immature moviegoer considering you give every movie you dislike a 1-star rating (which also happen to be many of the best and highly-regarded films) so your attitude is unsurprising. You act like there's nothing good at all about movies such as The Departed to the point where it deserves the lowest rating possible. Yet then you give cartoons 10-stars, and here you are complaining about "made for kids sh*t" .

And one hopes that forum posters will be smart, OP. not old or brave enough to write "shit" or "fucking," but DEMANDING an R rating for a film you are too immature to see? Fuck off, child.

Why are you always angry?
