What I Learned from This Movie

1. Flight attendants work both the First Class and the Economy cabins.

2. Singapore Slings were invented in the Raffles Hotel bar in Singapore.

3. Guns can easily be snuck aboard a plane if they're hidden in a boot.

4. The place to look for the American Embassy is in a dive bar 500 miles from the capital.

5. To find a quality tracker, pick the one who in a drunken stupor in a bar tells you he's the best.

6. When committing a major bank heist and smuggling the loot across a national border, you really want to have at least one violent psycho on your team.

7. Six hours after surviving a plane crash in a swamp, you should still have your tie on.

8. Mother crocodiles will seek revenge on anyone who kills their grown offspring.

1. It looked like a smaller plane and I only saw two attendants. Businesses always adapt to present conditions and the needs thereof.

2. This is true: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singapore_Sling

3. The movie was released to video in 2002, which means it was shot before 9/11 or around that general time. This explains how easily the thugs were able to get into the pilot's cabin.

4. Zach just happened to be 500 miles from the American Embassy when he caught word that the flight crashed.

5. He had to take who was immediately available and "Crocodile Dundee" types don't look or act like they belong on the cover of Gentleman's Quarterly.

6. The supposedly genius thug said that -- in his line of work -- you have to take who you can get. Besides, weren't the bulk of the gang violent psychos? For instance, the leader, Max, doesn't hesitate to murder the wounded crash survivor harmlessly laying on the ground.

7. It depends on how hot it was, plus his hands were tied for a long period.

8. Sounds reasonable. Have you ever tried to rob a mother bear of one of her cubs?
