In addition to the previously mentioned criticisms of the lack of character development, general mediocrity of the movie, I can't believe that any media outlet would actually give a voice to the the demand of the Frenchman who offered to pay anyone for his release. Totally absurd. Why not integrate the cliche of the (uncensored) internet as his sounding board a la MIssion: Impossible etc?
And are there really just these five SWAT team members defending all of LA? Come on, really?

Did you not see the use of the other teams in the movie?

he missed 75% i would say... pretty much all of the important stuff
