Just another awful shoot-em-all dead movie

Dunno why everyone has such a hard on for yet another shoot-em-up movie which is all what this crappy film is.
It's overrated and to like it is just being a snob fitting in with the rest of the sheeple.
It's one of those movies where it's trendy to like it and if you don't then something must be wrong with you.
Well, something is wrong with those who like it because it really is just another meaningless violent gun movie.

Damn, I'm good.

Omg. Seek help. Just because you are a naive gun hater don't mix that in with movie critique. Ha, you gun haters....when someone is breaking in your house you will be crying like a baby for the cops...or anybody with a gun

I don't care that this is an old thread but wow!
I feel compelled to tell you that you really are, how can I put it, a dickhead!
The most stupid opinion for a great movie that I have ever read!

You described a film which this is not, and unlike the kind of film you are insinuating the film judges the mobster characters for their violent actions and doesn't let them get away with it.

Remember the scene in the Cathedral basement? Sullivan brings up how Conor murdered his wife and son, to which Rooney replies, "there are only murderers in this room"

He was stating that both he and Sullivan have made a career out of killing people, and that Conor is essentially equal to them in that capacity of criminality.

Hanks is killed in the end becuase his past comes back to haunt him, his son is spared becuase he never kills anyone and becomes a part of the conflict.
