Can anyone explain the ending? Seems, to me, like lots of segments were removed...
shareI wonder if you'll actually read this, but it's worth a shot.
In the end, sometime after Rin wakes up from his sleep at the hospital, he begins writing a book report called "Summer Passes By." While writing it, we see many events of what will happen later on in the manga. It ends with Rin and Alice playing at the beach and Rin finishing his paper.
It's not the end of the series itself, just the anime. The manga goes on for much longer.
