somewhat lost

The message in this film is well put and strong. However did anyone feel the acting, and especially the script is extremely flawed. Many of the scenes, like the gossip high school scenes use poor dialog, which makes the film somewhat unbelievable in it's context.
In most cases this subject is very difficult to put into film well, and although the film has its merits, poor writing has damaged the outcome.
Just my opinion I guess.
