Why is she starting high school at 16?
Did some high schools start at 11th grade? I mean, she started kindergarten at 5, the normal age. The years were shown, so writers were obviously aware of the ages and the timeline. So what happened here?
shareI’m watching this now and I think it’s just her starting a new school. I just saw a part where her dad said it would be hard because it’s a new school, new friends and new teachers.
But I do know some schools have at 6th grade - 9th grade then 10th-12th is at a different school. That may be the case her too. Yet it’s odd at one point during lunch someone says “there is the new guy.” and the girl says how cute he is. He may just be new to the area.
