I have it on tape (sorry, can't sell it though). I've got lots of other stuff on the tape that I can't lose.

I taped it off Cinemax. If you have that channel, keep looking for it. Either that or Showtime. It wasn't on an HBO channel I know.

Don't kill the messenger, but I'll bet the original poster of this thread lost his bet. They never made the DVD. They acted like they were going to make this DVD. They issued release information to vendors that they would release this DVD. Amazon.com created a page for this DVD and had it up for over three years, but they never made the DVD! It has never been available for purchase. The only way anyone has this film is if they copied it from TV themselves. What a pity! This is one of the best films of this genre.

I remember the post I did and I was just leaving another post reply on another project that never saw the light of day. I am sure if I really made a huge effort to find it, I could. Someone emailed me that they even called the production company to ask about it's release and that person told me that the company said they would send him a copy, for $100. How messed up is that. I am sure some file sharing group will get it one day. As for me, no big deal.

A Blast From The Past, if you have email notifications enabled.

The Amazon page is now deleted, but the thumbnail for this movie's aborted DVD cover is still showing up in my wishlist. (I just can't bring myself to remove the item, as it's been in the wishlist for over eleven years, LOL!) Any attempt to click the item results in a page cannot be displayed error on Amazon's server.

Just for amusement I'll tell this anecdote: I added this item to my wishlist when I first found Amazon.com on September 10, 2002. I was a young in my early 20s and just moved out on my own (not counting college). When I added it, I could tell there would be problems as the release date was January 1, 2010! I added it anyway, resolved to not remove it until I purchased it or until I saw what happened over seven years later when the 1/1/10 date rolled around. It came and went. Now, I'm just going to leave it there until I own a copy, which will probably be never.
