Kristen Stewart

How big is her role in this thing? Any nudity?

Good grief -- I hope you're joking with that second question. Perhaps you don't realize that Kristen was only ten years old when The Safety of Objects was filmed in late summer 2000. On the other hand, perhaps I misunderstood your question and you're simply wondering whether any of the actors who were of legal age when the movie was filmed have a nude scene. If that's the case then the answer is yes -- there is one short one.

As for Kristen's role, it's not that big but it is important. The Safety of Objects was based on a book of ten short stories by A.M. Homes which Rose Troche (the director and screenwriter) combined into a movie about four neighboring families. Thus there are several stories occuring at the same time. Kristen was quite good in it however, especially considering that it was her first real movie role (I'm not counting her ten silent seconds as "the girl waiting to get a drink" in Disney's The Thirteenth Year back in '99).

Although she played a supporting actress role in an ensemble cast and was one of the youngest actors in this film she had a good head on her shoulders and was the most level headed person in a world where the adults were all facing some sort of crisis. You rarely see a child actor display such a level of maturity as Kristen had done in some of her early performances in movies such as "Panic Room", "Cold Creek Manor", "Speak" and "The Safety Of Objects".

is cold creek manor any good? its the only one i haven't seen.
