I don't want to sound like an idiot but there's no one credited as playing Alex in the cast list. Was it just the same actor who played Wes? I didn't watch the series--I watched the original MMPR as a kid through midway through the PRiS. The series lost a lot of steam after Tommy left the series in Turbo. The replacements were just never as good as the original six rangers.
shareAlex was never in the opening credits of the show, only in the end credits. But, yes, he's Jason Faunt, the same guy who played Wes.

You should go back and check out Space. If you thought the franchise was losing steam, you dropped out at the worst time, because that is right where things would pick up for the next few seasons.
I was of the opinion Jason Faunt did a believable job making the two characters different.
