Moral Of The Story: Men Get It All...And Women Suffer

So the end of the movie tells us that Jeremy Northam's character finds out that his child is alive and well and he gets to live out his life with a doting wife and all his questions answered. But...Jennifer Ehle has to live with the fact that her female partner killed herself, partly due to the actions of Ehle. PLUS Ehle has to live with her child close by...but having that child never really like her. PLUS Ehle lives a life alone as a spinster. Moral of the story? Be born with a penis.
