must see film

It's a very good film, much different than your average film from today. It's worth checking out, I found it on Netflix.
shareYes I wish they made more films like this today. This one's quite a study on the human condition. Harry wants nothing more than to stand tall in the eyes of his community, though he he is far from it. He wants to stand tall and proud above the poverty and sorrow of his life during the early 1900's and overcome his adversity. He sees himself just like those sparse mighty noble trees that dot the rough bare landscape of the countryside around him. But Harry's quest to acheive this goal leads him down the path to maddness and we see how his only surviving son, Gus, struggles to deal with it.
Both performances given of Harry (Colm Meaney) and Gus (Cillian Murphy) are excellent. Also the performance by Adrian Dunbar (George) and Kerry Condon (Eileen) are just as good and ass great depth to the story. This movie is truly worth watching.
