I can rember watching an ITV drama when I was about 9 or 10 so this would have been about 1999/8 and I'd like to be able to look it but I can't remember what it was called,and yes I am aware this wasn't perfect strangers as that was on the BBc but I think the same people might have watched both.Basicaly there was a womn who wanted to have a baby but not a relationship,at least I think that was it, so she put an advert in a magazine so she could meet the father of her child . A very charming man responded and she ended up falling for him.She got pregnant like she wanted and continued to see him, it then turned out he wasn't the doctor he said he was but was in fact a little mad .She tried to stop seeing him he got angry and tried hurt her. She told him she had an abortion he got angry again and tried to them both in a fire she escaped and it turned out hadn't actualy had an abortion. hope this sounds familiar to some one.

Well, I cannot speak really good english, but I hope you can undersatdn what I'm telling.
Did you mean a film by Stephen Poliakoff?? I have just seen 'Perfect Strangers', but on my DVD stands that there is also available 'Shooting the past' and 'Caught on a train'. Probably you meant one of those films. Both are, of course, by Stephen. I cannot tell you which film it is, because I haven't seen those films, just Perfect Strangers. But I feel sorry for you, because I know how it is to wish something, and no one can help you! In case it is REALLY important, just let me know and I will try to ask a friend of mine, who could probably know it.

PS - Have you seen Perfect Strangers ? JJ Feild is as Richard amazing, isn't he ?! You must know, I am the biggest JJ Feild Fan on this world! I would like to know what you thing about him :)

Thank you very much it isn't either of them but thanks anyway. Perfect strangers is amazing don't know anything about JJ other than he's a really good actor. the one I'm thinking of isn't a Poliakoff ,I just thought the same people probably would have watched both. thank you again though.xxxxx

Oh, sorry. Sadly it is not one of those films. However, I going to write I mail to a friend of mine today, and I will tell him about this film. Probaby he knows more then I do…
Anyway, I hope so maybe someone else will help you, in case my friend doesn't know about that film. That film sounds interesting!
Oh yes, JJ Feild is an amazing actor! When I saw him for the very first time, about three years ago, he became a part of my life. Since then I love him more then everyone else do! I love him in Perfect Strangers, but also in all other films I have seen! He looks amazing in Jack and the Beanstalk – The Real Story. You should watch that film, that is such a lovely story about love, corage, proud and luck!

Again, sorry for that stupid question, but I didn't know that. However, yes I liked PS too! Have you seen Finding Neverland? I love that film! I'm always crying when I'm watching it! How sad that story is! And Kate Winslet is one of my favourite actresses.

yeah I loved that film too, Kate winslets really good in it. the man in my local video rental place recomended it.I love Kate winslet but I,don't hate me for saying this, didn't like titanic.

Hi there,

Don't worry, it's alright that you don't like Titanic. Well, I love that film, just because of Kate. I want to be actress and I am very hard working on my study, and my idol is Kate Winslet and so I love every film with her :)
I simply love films. I have a lot of favourite films. Some os them are: The Lord of the Rings, Last Orders, Jack and the Beanstalks, Eternal Sunshine of the spottless mind, Merlin- the wizard, Harry Potter, Sleepy Hollow, The Horseman, No man's land…
My fave actor is JJ, but I also like Michael Caine, Johnny Depp, Adam Garcia and of couse Niksa Kuselj – sure you don't know about him, but he is a croatian actor and looks really hot!

Kate winslet was the best thing about titanic.Loved Eternal sunshine of the spoless mind, thought it was lovely.I really like Tim Burton,especially Sleepy hollow, Edward scissorhands and nightmare before christmas. I really hope the acting goes well, maybe oneday you'll have your own IMDB page. I should go and eat now, bye.

Yeah, I love Kate there too! You must love films, for you have seen a lot of them. I love films too, but that was always like this. And I forgot 'The Secret Garden'! That is also a very lovely film. But I love the film more then the book…coz the film is darker and I like dark things. Rock rules!
I would like to know…how old are you? Yes, I hope so I will have one day my own site at IMDB [:-P] Sweet dreams [:-)]

Yeah, the film of secret garden is better than the book, I am fifteen, I come from England ,I love films, books,music , what music do you like?what do you like doing when your not on IMDB? I do drama too but I'm not very good at it, oh well it's fun.do you realise we've basically got our own private conversation, I'm supprised that more people don't visit this board. I'm the youngest of four, I have on brother(30 in june)and two sisters( 28 and20) how about you?

But you could try checking the CVs of Ross Kemp, David Jason and Caroline Quentin, if you're still really desperate.
